As a global Les Vergers Boiron Ambassador Chef, she is celebrated for her refined craftsmanship and visionary approach. Today, Sonia stands among the pioneers of high-end French patisserie in New Zealand, with her work earning recognition both locally and abroad.

Do I need to have previous experience?
Experience is not necessary as long as you are interested to learn! The courses are designed for everyone with the aim to improve understanding of ingredients and the science behind the creations.
What is the minimum age to attend a class?
What is the minimum age to attend a class?
As the class is a practical hands on with some theory, our classes are best suited for 13 years and above.
Cancellations and no-shows
Cancellations and no-shows
Due to time and costs of preparations prior to a class, cancellations received within 4 days of the class date can only be refunded if the place can be filled from the waiting list. If you have no choice but to cancel last minute, please try to get your family or friends to take over your place.

It was such an exquisite baking class we had at L’atelier Vaniyé. The class arrangement was great, with ample time and a real hands-on experience for us to learn and practise making of the whole cake. Sonia is an excellent teacher, she explained the steps in details and would give us special notes on how to make things better.

A fantastic class!
Beautiful kitchen and space, amazingly helpful, friendly, and engaging tutor (Sonia) and a DELISH dessert to take home at the end of it all.
A mix of making elements yourself and being shown others or working in groups.
I would 100% come back again, and encourage my friends too.
